8 August, 2016

Digital lock designer and manufacturer Codelocks has promoted Colin Campbell to its board of directors in charge of worldwide sales, responsible for business growth across the Codelocks group. The group consists of Codelocks UK, USA, and Australia, and encompasses all of the access control product ranges

In his new role, Colin will focus on aligning global sales strategies, including overseeing deals with multinational companies. He will focus on growing Codelocks’ global market share and continue to maximise Codelocks’ international relationships. This new position will also ensure that products continue to meet market sector needs, new products are introduced quickly, and pricing remains market competitive. Colin says,

“I am looking forward to being involved in the further expansion of Codelocks into North East America and Central Europe and the opportunities that this will create. It’s an exciting time to be part of the growth of Codelocks, which now has over 150 variants of mechanical, electronic and smart locks.

This is a fantastic opportunity to address the challenges customers, locksmiths and distributors face and promote Codelocks products on multiple levels, in a variety of different markets and languages. I am excited to meet with the entire team across all locations in the coming weeks, to share best practice and agree future plans.”

Having previously worked for over 20 years in the door and hardware industry, Colin brought a wealth of experience with him to Codelocks over 18 months ago when he was appointed as a Sales Manager, overseeing business operations in both the UK and Middle East. During this time the business underwent double-digit growth in both its domestic and overseas markets. Colin’s industry expertise is enhanced by his membership to professional trade body Guild of Architectural Ironmongers (GAI) and membership to Institute of Architectural Ironmongers (IAI).
