Electronic lock manufacturer Codelocks expands its US operation

Codelocks, a leading manufacturer of standalone access control products, has recently expanded its operations in Irvine, California and announced the appointment of Steve Jones as new business development manager.

We saw a significant increase in demand for our electronic door and locker locks last year, and the new premises will help us better serve our customers in 2014.  With more space we’ve been able to upgrade our office systems, putting in place better facilities for stock control and technical support. This, coupled with the addition of several innovative new product lines, will allow Steve to significantly increase our direct sales activity here in the US.

We are delighted to welcome someone of Steve’s experience and calibre to the team, Steve has spent the last 15 years working in a sales and business development role for a number of companies in the industrial storage product and lock manufacturing industry, including List Industries, Penco Products, Republic Storage and Digilock. We are excited to have him on board.

"It was the quality of the Codelocks products and the great team they have here in Irvine that really attracted me to the role,” explains Jones. "Customers like to know that when they need product support, there’ll be a great team of people ready to help them, and that’s exactly what they’ll get from the team at our new office. At the moment Codelocks is the best-kept secret in the industry, and I intend to change that by getting more distributors and OEMs involved in selling the products. I can’t wait to pioneer some of the new products that incorporate audit trail and remote code generation, areas we expect to see grow significantly this year.”

Steve Jones lives in the beach-orientated city of Carlsbad, California, and loves to spend his free time surfing and sailing.
